Associate Creative Director

We are seeking an ambitious Associate Creative Director to join the Refine Labs team. You’re a great fit for this role if you are able to inspire the rest of the team, engage clients, have a knack for storytelling, and are excellent at both messaging and design.
To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of how to translate marketing and branding strategies into innovative and impressive campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences. You should also have experience working with, directing, and managing a team consisting of design and copy specialists.

Target salary is $165,000 or above, depending on years of experience and expertise.
What you'll do at Refine Labs
  • Effectively manage multiple Art Directors, projects and stakeholders
  • Oversee all campaigns, from conception to delivery, collaborating with Directors of Demand Generation, VP of Demand, and external stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and project management on various projects
  • Assist the Creative Director with hiring, recruiting, and onboarding new team members
  • Determine the necessary tools/applications needed to advance the creative production of the department 
  • Help creative teams overcome obstacles & work closely with the Creative Director to offer creative visual and messaging solutions
  • Conceptualize strategic creative campaigns across digital/social channels for leading B2B SaaS/Tech brands, while integrating the fun and engaging creativity captured in B2C branding 
  • Continue to visually evolve the Refine Labs Brand
  • Ensure projects are meeting budgets, timelines, and requirements
  • Maintain a knowledge of, and stay up to date on, latest industry technology, trends and techniques
  • Understand and optimize created assets based on performance data
  • Support the Creative Director with the development of concepts, strategies, and client presentations
You Need
  • 3-6 years of experience as an Associate Creative Director, ideally for agencies
  • Experience owning creative campaigns across all channels, but especially on social and digital platforms
  • Deep understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc) as well as smaller and emerging platforms
  • Strong ability to guide, mentor, enable and inspire a growing team of Art Directors to create best-in-class work 
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills at all levels of the company
  • Expert mastery of knowledge with Sketch, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere
  • Proven success developing and optimizing creative processes
  • A compelling portfolio of work, showcasing your digital, print and motion experience
  • Experience working with SaaS/Tech brands, a plus 
  • Creativity and innovative spirit - always thinking one step ahead
