Leadership
Megan Bowen co-founded Refine Labs in 2020 to change how B2B companies approach go-to-market. She's spent the past 20 years building and scaling GTM teams — through an IPO, an acquisition, and everything in between.

"Individuals don't build great companies. Teams do. My job as a leader is to create the conditions for people to do the best work of their lives — because without customers, you don't have a business."
— Megan Bowen, CEO
Megan's perspective
We've built our approach in partnership with nearly 300 B2B companies since 2019. That work is where our frameworks and playbooks come from — not theory, but what's actually worked across 20+ industries. Our creative team builds the campaigns those strategies need, and the Vault holds everything we've learned along the way, including what didn't work. We publish it because sharing what we know is part of how we hold ourselves accountable.
Why we're different
Same two people, start to finish
One director and one performance lead own your account end to end. They wrote the strategy, so they're not guessing when they run the media.
Brand, demand, and expand actually talk to each other
Most agencies run one of these at a time. We run all three together, so the brand work shows up in your CPL instead of just your awareness numbers.
We get paid on pipeline, not spend
Nobody here benefits from a bigger budget for its own sake. We benefit when pipeline grows — that's the only number we're actually chasing.
We've probably seen your version of this problem
300+ B2B companies since 2019. Whatever's off with your pipeline right now, there's a decent chance we've already diagnosed it somewhere else.
We live inside your CRM
Not reporting off a media dashboard from the outside. We're in Salesforce or HubSpot with you, so when leadership asks why pipeline moved, you've got a real answer.

A bit more about Megan

One of Megan's personal goals is proving that a company can build a great business by putting people and customers first, without sacrificing performance. Kindness, patience, strategic thinking, and long-term planning are the differentiators she's betting on. She's not interested in maximizing profit at the expense of her team or her values. She wants Refine Labs to be a place where people do the best work of their careers, and where that work has a real, positive impact on their teammates, their customers, and the company overall.
Outside of work
Megan left her native Los Angeles in 2003 and has spent the last two decades building her career and her life in New York. She's an advocate for real work/life balance and works hard to protect it. Outside of Refine Labs, she spends time on the Long Island coast with her husband and their Cocker Spaniel. She's an avid boater, traveler, cook, reader, and a certified scuba diver.
